Abstract

The current study aimed to develop a scale of self-awareness among university youth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to verify its psychometric characteristics and factorial construction. The study sample consisted of (728) university youth. The self-awareness measure was applied to them through an electronic questionnaire. Three dimensions (goal achievement, self-evaluation, and self-confidence), the scale obtained good reliability coefficients in several ways, and internal consistency was calculated, and the results of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) indicated good indicators of good fit. The study recommended the possibility of using the scale of self-awareness in future studies in the Arab environment for those interested in this field.
