Abstract

The Current Study aimed to Identify the relationship between Self-Pity and Psychological Happiness among infertile wives, and also aimed to identify the possibility of predicting psychological happiness through self-compassion, and to identify the differences between non-bearing wives on the variables of self-pity and psychological happiness according to age, the study followed the descriptive approach And it was applied to a sample of (200) non-fertile women who attended infertility and childbirth centers in the city of Riyadh. The study used the measures of self-pity and psychological happiness (prepared by the researcher), and the results concluded that there is a significant correlation between self-pity and psychological happiness in the study sample. The possibility of predicting psychological happiness through the self-compassion variable, the study also found that there were no statistically significant differences on the measure of self-compassion and psychological happiness according to the age variable of the study sample
