The role of digital media in defining psychological disorders and therapeutic services provided according to the individuals view

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of digital media in defining psychological disorders and therapeutic services provided according to the individuals view. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared to measure individuals' opinions on the role of digital media in defining psychological disorders and therapeutic services provided. The questionnaire was applied to (142) individuals. The results showed that digital media has an average level in defining psychological disorders and therapeutic services provided. The axis of defining psychological disorders came in first place with a average (17,76), and the axis of defining therapeutic services provided came in second place with a average (16,45). The results also showed that gender, educational level, and emotional health status are not among the factors influencing the individual's opinion on the role of digital media in defining psychological disorders and therapeutic services provided.
