Social Exclusion as a Predictor for Behavioural Deviation in a Sample of Adolescents in Jeddah City

The study aimed to identify the level of social exclusion and behavioral deviance and the relationship between them, and to reveal differences in the level of social exclusion and behavioral deviance according to the gender variable (males - females), and to predict behavioral deviance through social exclusion among a sample of adolescents in the city of Jeddah. The study sample was ( 493) male and female students from middle and high school schools in Jeddah, and the social exclusion scale (Al Fatlawi and Ajram, 2021), and the behavioral deviation scale (Al Kashki and AlGhanami, 2022) were used as tools for the study, the study results showed a moderate level of social exclusion, a low level of behavioural deviance, a strong direct relationship between social exclusion and behavioural deviance, and the absence of statistically significant differences in the level of social exclusion and behavioural deviance attributable to the gender variable (males - females). The study confirmed that it is possible Predicting behavioural deviation through social exclusion in the study sample.
